World Sports Center - This book, based out of Belize, we turned down a little bit reluctantly, but frankly had no other choice. The company has been in operation less than two years offshore. They deal mostly in credit but have developed a nice software platform all their own. One concern we had was that WSC really does not have a grasp of the post up market. Quite frankly, we think they are going to want to go back to credit exclusively, and that is not Sports911's gig. World Sports Center also expressed to us that they were considering a move to Cancun, Mexico. Somehow we don't think that will bode too well with monopolistic Mexico giant, Caliente....or the U.S. government for that matter. Sports911.com believes the book probably does have a nice clientele from the States....one they should stick to without integrating "bonus whores" and "sharps".

Just wondering if anyone minds if WSC responds to this post?

I would like to clear up a few things in this post
that may have been taken out of context.

First of all our company was considering several
places to relocate our call-center. Mexico had been
one of them because a contact within the Govt had
arranged for a meeting to discuss a license pertaining
to just phone wagering. Not a store front operation
like Caliente. WSC would not move to a location that
could be looked at as risqué without a green light
from the Government of that Country.

To address the next part of the post "Quite frankly,
we think they are going to want to go back to credit
exclusively"

After taking these steps to become a legitimate
offshore book and knowing we have a large community of
players behind us, why go back to just a credit
operation? Our call-center and offshore operation is here
to stay. We look at credit and online players as being
one in the same. Their need to cash out winnings
without any questions or hesitation is the same for both
types of players. That said, all online clients are welcome
and will always be!
It would be totally crazy to say we will not take your
online business anymore because we want to only handle
credit when all the tools are in place for both
markets.

Our understanding in both credit and online status is
the same. PAYMENT. The player wants one thing in the
end. TO GET PAID!
We may not have the full marketing knowledge of our
competitors that have been online for years. However,
we have a strong foundation and backing like the big
books you see online today. They all started from the
same place. CREDIT.

I must admit that at the beginning WSC was unsure of
what path to take on the bonus subject. Many different
ideas were up in the air. Management made the final
decision
about bonuses at the end. NO BONUSES. We feel that we
are solid enough to stand without them. That does not
mean we won't offer perks to our loyal online
cutomers.

I have full respect for the website that posted this
article and understand that they use their insight in
determining the longevity of "NEW" books that enter this
market. I hope that
After several more seasons of football they give us the
opportunity to advertise with them.

Rick
