Gave up next years #1 #5 round and this years #3 round for a Manning/Rivers trade! Rivers and Manning are equal in talent most draft boards! Rivers was all class when interviewed, he would have succeeded anywhere...Manning, the spoiled little puzzy, would have spent the next year sulking in the beautiful SD sun...LEVERAGE WAS ALL GIANTS, AND THEY BLINKED FOR THE "BIG NAME".

Hands down, the Chargers are the big winners of the draft already. Both SD and Giants will be around 4-12 next year...Chargers will have TWO top 10 picks next year.

And lets not forget this years early third round pick they gave up. This is the deepest draft in years. An early third rounder this year would have netted second round talent in any other draft year...

My hats off to SD....you may question Marty S. as a coach, but he and the SD general manager just pulled off the coup of the draft. Best of luck to SD next year and even though I like Tom Coughlin and his old school coaching methods, I hope Eli never completes a pass.
