Hey Irish, that bet is no gimme for you. Vlady just turned 28, and he has 238 hrs. If he averages 40 hrs a yr and plays till only 41 yrs old (bonds is turning 40 soon) then Vlady will end up with 758 hrs. And if anyone knows Vlady, it's me. He was an expo for quite some time and I took a good look at this guy and let me tell you one thing, this guy is better than a lot of people think he is. He will hit 40 hrs a year easily, and he will even have some 50 hr years along the way.. If he stays healthy, he breaks Aarons record easily. This kid is good. He is very talented.
to show you how good he is, Vlady had 5 straight seasons with a batting avg over .300, 30 HRS, and over 100 RBI'S. Only 2 other players in ML History have accomplished this.. Gehrig and Ruth..
And Vlady would have made it 6 straight seasons last year had he didn't miss 40 plus games due to injury. He still came close last year too when he hit .330, had 25 hrs and drove in just under 80. Is this guy good or what?

as far as juice goes, I wll say he probably just uses top of the line supplements. and NOT steriods.
to go in the gym as much as he does AND play baseball while being on steriods at his age it is just unheard of to be this injury free. A guy who bodybuilds and does nothing but go to the gym would be pretty injury riddled at this stage of the game. however he really does baby himself out on that field.
