Is Ron Artest Defensive Player of the year, worth 1 point?

I probably was a bit too conservative not buying the 10 1/2 beofre it was annouced he was suspended, but did not feel gamble was worth it as if he did not get suspended, line would be 12. So he was, and it dropped a point to 9 1/2. I have bought some, not sure what is left out there but this is a huge one game loss for the Pacers. He is key against the Celtics. No one can even come close to filling his shoes defensively. He takes other teams top scorer out. And he is a second to third scoring option. Plus the fire he brings is contagious. After being blasted in game one, this one may shake out somewhat differently with Ron gone. I think in all reality they straddled the opener and would move it down 1 if out, up 1 1/2 if in. So he is actually worth 2 1/2 on the line, but way more in my eyes. This line will not go up. Best Wishes...OF

Artest against paul Pirece is the big match-up that won't happen. That said, this Boston team is so pathetic, winning only 15 or 16 games in the second half of the season, its almost impossible to make a case for betting on them.

Well looks like Ron is worth a lot more than 1 point. Pacers guards do not impress. This team will struggle even with Ron vs. Pistons. Indy 2nd half, go good with Celts +9 1/2. Best wishes...OF

Pacers have had several games where they wake up in second. Line is 8. Artest may be a big factor here.

Just remember, the Pacers are playing the absolute worst playoff team in recent NBA history. 4th. Qtr.score of 38-21 is sad. imho.

Saw that coming was hoping for Celts to lose by 10 or less, hit both but not running to the window to bet bottom 3 East dogs, or inexperienced dogs. Just took a shot on suspension play. Personally I think Knicks are just as bad as Celts. Still cashing, just not on crap dogs. Best Wishes...OF
