I'm gonna be in Vegas for a week, and I'm spending money on nice hotels for a few days, because of a large baseball parlay. I'm 28, and going with my brother. Which hotel would be better to stay at?

Knock Ceasers off your list.

The Palms has much more variety than the Hard Rock and more action during the daylight hours.

If you want to be able to walk easily to several nice places to compare sports prices, just horse around, or whatever...

You have to remove Hard Rock AND The Palms because they are both off the beaten path and very inconveniently located.

if you want to see unbelievably beautiful women in the casino, bar and the pool, the hard rock is the place.

I'm staying at Tuscany for 3 nights, and that's closer to Hard Rock. So I think Hard Rock is out, since I can go there during those 3 nights. I love the Rio Seafood Buffet with lobster and crab legs, so I'll definetly be going down there. Might as well stay close at the Palms for a night, and I've heard that it is awesome. What about MGM Grand for a night? Worth it?

I'd go Palms right now, since the Hard Rock Sports book is under a reconstruction, and does not exist for awhile.

Both are great hotels.

Your first post mentioned staying at "nice hotels".

In my opinion, the MGM is pretty much a big warehouse full of flashing lights. That's all!

I feel The Mirage is as nice as anywhere in Vegas. Centrally located too. You might want to consider The Venetian also

Stayed at the MGM this past weekend and was not impressed.

Personally I have liked the Bellagio the best, and want to try the venetian my next time out there.

Thanks guys. Any other feedback would be appreciated. I've been to Vegas many times, but I always stayed at Tuscany. Can't beat 600 sq. ft rooms for $65 a weekend night. But I want to try other places this time.

Pack- It's not big for you heavy hitters. But I'm only a $150 a game bettor. I felt like gambling, and put 150 on a three-teamer. Took the favorites on the run line, and it paid 13-1. I know, I know, what a stupid bet. But like in "Risky Business," sometimes you just gotta say WTF?!!! I had Brad Penny over the Expos, Dustin Hermanson over the Brewers, and Kelvin Escobar over the Mariners last Tues.

How old are you Dante? It seems like you and I think a lot alike on this board. I might have to pick you brain a little more on this one.

Congrats on the parlay, Illini!
That's a nice pop for anyone. Have a great time and "keep your fences up"!!

Agreed that Hard Rock is the place if you are looking for good looking, younger women in the pool. I heard the Palms has the older fine lookin women....so, I suggest...BOTH! Little bit of everything!

Thanks Pack. You a Green Bay fan, or just like Billy Packer that much?

I was at both Seahawks games, and was there for the interception that won the game. Freezing cold, but worth it to be there.
