I could not answer that ID. Publicly, a great majority have to say yes, but who knows really. The vast majority are to young to understand the politics involved. I know I was in the early 90's.

I am not Bush supporter but please explain to me how he stole the election. The Miami Herald counted every ballot in the state and found that Bush won by 500. And before you say Gore had more total votes, forget it. That is like the losing football team saying we should have won because we have more total yards. If they counted square miles Bush would have killed Gore. Bush got his 270+ and he won end of story. Don't blame Bush, blame Nader or Clinton. Those 2 cost Gore the win.

Actually Al Gore won the election but because this country still uses the electoral vote system which should have been trashed years ago, Bush became president which he did not deserve. Al Gore got more votes and he should have been the president. Simple.

That being said. Wait until the price drops some more on the Bush and then bet it. He'll get re-elected. The Republicans will make a huge ad blitz in the coming months and enough idiots will vote for Bush again.

Nice post Bob, electoral system did Gore in. But, it is not like there was a late rule change to help Bush, been around for a long time. I never really quite understood its purpose in high school civics. And I agree with Bush reelected and waiting for price. I had him last time also. Despise politics, politicians and other arrogant corrupt clowns. But does not stop me from cashing in on them. Economy nailed Bush the elder. But economy may just be picking up steam for Bush the younger. Also, I could have reached out and touched Bush the elder when he was Vice Prez. I was first sideboy on fast attack sub out og Pearl. Made cover of Honolulu paper. That was my 5 seconds of fame. By the way, secret service showed topside watch uzi on swing. Told him not to get near his sidearm, which was not loaded anyway. Actually Bush the elder loves the military and invaded Panama after uUS servicemen and wives were accosted. And he was sort of cool and down to earth. Best Wishes...OF

If Gore would have won his own state and the Arkansas than he would have clearly won both the popular and electoral college vote.

If Bush would have lost, than Gore would have won. Ifs are like excuses. But how could you not win your own state? They should know you better than anyone. Nevermind. Great Nic, named my fourth son Alexander after the great. Best Wishes...OF
