Come on now, anyone laying the chalk of 11 points with Indiana will go broke from gambling within the month! Not saying that they wont cover, but certianly there are better options out there than this. I would think that the -11 would the same as taking the Devil Rays to beat the Red Sox with Pedro on the hill! Sure it could happen, but only 1 out of 4 times AT THE MOST!

I mean when has Indiana been a double digit favorite ALL YEAR LONG???? And I am including non playoff teams!

Also, San Antonio is laying WAY too much wood here. They will win the series most likely 4-0, but will only win each game by around 5 points.

I have Indiana as a 4 point winner today

Pacers have been a double digit favorite many times at home this year, and covered quite a few, just like they will today...

i do agree however on Memphis, they are too good to be getting 10 points, against an erratic shooting Spurs team..

gl today..

Pacers win by 16

Spurs win by 4

Have to admit, Pacers laying 11 1/2 seems so high. They lost to Celts and won by 1 point at Canseco. I know new season, but Celtics just do not quit on road. Ask TWolfs. Other big dog is a mystery, Grizz closed very poor, not sure what Hubie was up to. 0 playoff experience. Probably find some cheap 11 1/2 or take the 12 on Celts and pass on Grizz. First round games are only ones with double digits so you have to get them now. Best Wishes...OF

NBA rd 1, game 1, not a time to bet the dogs.

Similar to NFL playoffs, playing bye week teams vs. teams that advanced. The lines are always too high, and the favorites just keep on covering.

I like the jinx thoery way better than that comparision. Not even apples and oranges there. NFL rested home team, scouting playing team, then play at home, with fans, rested is no comparison. Difficult to draw any conclusions atfer one half of one game. I will stick with double digit dogs and home dogs in NBA playoffs. Best Wishes...OF

Fezzik, would you have posted that if Celts were up at half?

Of course, I would have posted it.

It's a well known fact that Game1, rd1 basic strategy is Favorites and Unders.

OH-uh. ALOT of scoring. ALOT of scoring.

IMO, boston shouldn't have even been in the playoffs, i could easily see more blowouts to come.
