I'm not watching every shot in the Masters, but have it on in the background. Quite often I hear "this took place moments ago" or words to that effect when they're showing a shot that's not live because they were showing someone else.
Well, a few minutes ago Mickelson had hit his tee shot on the 12th green and then you hear a big roar in the background. One of the announcers says "I have a feeling Els is about to stick a dagger in his chances" (or something that effect)...then they go to a shot of Els lining up an eagle putt on the 13th hole. It's maybe 15 feet away...no gimme but you see pros make those all the time.
So, Els sinks it...was it a great prediction of a makeable putt...or was it actually on tape and CBS just wanted to make it appear live?
Anyone know for sure?
