Thinking about laying Indiana to win the East. Many think Miami is coming on and will be problems, but I only see Detroit as a team that may knock Indy off.Home court is so crucial in NBA, and I give Pacers the nod with that being the tiebreaker. Any opinions & best odds still available for Indy apprecitated.......Thanks......

Hache..I have been touting the Heat all year..They have talent and a different voice to get the message across..

Indiana not strong at the point..Miller older..Great role players and the big man who is no Garnett of Duncan for that matter..

Pistons tough..With new addition, they run the floor and dig in at the defensive end..Billups the real deal..Leave him open and you pay..

Nets have shot, with experience but are they healthy enough..Rookie coach, a question mark..

With Pacers you have veteran staff..Carlisle was no fool when he brought in Rothstein..Years with the bad boys..no situation he has not encountered..Brown the same with Pistons..Young boy coaching the Nets may push the wrong button..

Coaching so important after watching Hewitt during the tournament..

In the end the Heat are fresh..Young Wade and Odom with Butler and Jones may give defenses fits..

Lets pull up a chair and enjoy the action..The guy to watch is Marbury..No shot he doesnt like..His intensity and athleticism could elevate the Knicks in this new season..

The NBA palyoffs..The best time of the year for me..Tip Off..Tomorrow..

In the end... I believe Garnett and his crew walk off with the trophy..

the value is definatly with miami. 17-4 in the last 21 this team is hot and players are healthy. they have lots of talent and know how to execute. very well coached team. one of the few teams in the leauge that i actually feel comfortable with coming out of a timeout with less than 30 seconds. has big time clutch shot makers. has won their share of close games.

this team has gone from god awful to being one of the most excting teams in the leauge, and it happened all in one year.

Hache man, you failed to say what price you were getting, which makes quite a bit of difference. Indy has a bad rep of not winning the East, they just do not make it to the finals, no matter how good their regular season was. At this point you may be better served parlaying them, after the Boston series. Should be smallish fave over Miami, who gets falling Hornets first round, and probably a dog to Pistons, if they meet. So the price is very important. As far as the results, home field is huge, especially game 7's. But I just do not think there is any value in the price, with 2 difficult obstacles back to back, if things shake out like it appears. Disclaimer: Appearances can be deceiving. Final Answer, no, you are getting a short price and a tough road. Best Wishes...OF

The West will battle each other tooth and nail! The Pacers will walk through the East and wait and be fresh for the FINALS!

Omnivorous, Only getting Pacers at something like +150 I believe (?), but I'm not looking for "value", as where Miami is mentioned, I'm talking about who will WIN the East. I still believe with a healthy squad Indy wins it with home court & only Detroit has a chance of knocking them out, and that's only because of the addition of Rasheed.........

The addition of Rasheed may backfire when he decides to show his azz in the playoffs

I am pretty much a value shopper. But I cap for value also. I think $1.50 is short. They have a very tough opponent in Miami, setting up with a team that was easily the best in the conference at the end, and most of the books have Indy as second choice to them, without home field. That should sound a warning right there. Did not like last Indy game in Motown as new look Pistons dismantled them. No disrespect General, sir, but Sheed could portrayed as a savior by some. And a fresh start by him. Why have all of the bad jailblazers done better when released from Blazerjail? I think sheed through Hawks was a stroke of genius, and it shifted the balance of power in the East. His antics are superficial but his play is outstanding, all star caliber, especially his defense. With he and Ben guarding the paint you just do not drive the lane. This Piston team showed some of the best defense of the year and I wonder if that will get better, playoff style D usually does. Pistons could catch a tired Pacer tema if young Heat run, run, run. Again, final answer. NO. Best Wishes...OF

No disrespect taken frog. Wallace has a reputation that proceeds him. Trust me, for the better of the game, I hope he can maintain some sense of maturity throughout.
