Definately do not need a QB. You have a world champion already at that position.

I listen to the pittsburgh radioa talk shows and have a friend on the inside of the steelers, take it to the bank the first round pick will be phillip rivers. I am not agreeing with this so don`t shoot the messenger but just passing along info

imo it will be hard to pass up rothelsburger if he is available but I think they will

Man,sooner or later they have to get a legit QB.I say they bite the bullit, take Roethilisberger, hopefully in 3 years we'll have a QB.Will they do this?Probably not.I could live with Rivers.

Rivers is the best QB in the draft. I'd take him first overall without a hitch.

I will be surprised if Roethlisberger or Winslow Jr. are still on the board at that point. Rivers played for NC St. and some people have compared him to Bernie Kosar because of his unique throwing style(somewhat 3/4 of a delivery.)

they spoke with Mark Malone who's now working here in Chicago and he didn't seem to be overly thrilled with the thought of the Steelers picking Philip Rivers, so I guess it's not as hush hush as the Steelers may hope.

Roethlisberger will be gone, but Rivers should still be around.

But...if I'm a Steelers fan (I'm not), I would be banging my head on the wall every time I hear the names DeShea Townsend and Chad Scott. For a couple pretty sucky CB's, they sure have persisted in Pitt.

I'd be praying for DeAngelo Hall if I were you.

I was just going to say same thing as last two posts about Hall. If no Manning or Ben R.(and there won't be) take shut-down corner in Hall.
Less lead time in great corner, also.
Of course, this draft has 4-6 corners that will deservedly be taken in first two rounds after Deangelo.

The Steelers should take Ben R. if he's there at their pick, Rivers is overrated and will be mediocre at the best in the NFL.
