Who out there will bet on anything? I have sat at baseball games with friends betting balls and strikes on every pitch. How about betting traffic - next car two door or four door? How about over/under the number of characters killed in an action film by a guy like Rambo. I know a lot of guys will bet on anything. Care to share????

yeah ill share, i dont get excited about the lottery or slot machines or cherry machines or even random drawings in pools.. but give me sports wagering, poker or even black jack and im excited..

i run a racing pot each week at my store and its amazing how many people (women included) love that kind of stuff and when i ask them if they would like a little action on the games, they just shrug that off.. 2 different kinds of gamblers.. they also love the lottery and i still cant figure that one out..

The absolute most exciting form of gambling for me is multi-play video poker........preferably TEN-PLAY.

100%+ payback variety of course.

Nothing like hoping for a dealt Royal Flush and hitting ten Royals on one hand.

Drawing one card to a royal and getting ten shots at it is also exciting.

By far the greatest form of gambling fun in my lifetime.

I've the dubious honor of having logged almost a year behind various bars in the Texas county system(free man since 1996) and gambling was always a part of the day.

I don't use tobacco, but food was always a stake, given the substandard amounts one receives each day.

Last time in was in the Irving (home of Dallas Cowboys) city jail for a six week stretch paying off traffic fines....Watched the Leyritz jack for the Yankees versus The ATL that turned the 1996 World Series around...that was the start of two mornings worth of breakfast I won from a guy after betting NYY following the Game One win by Braves.....

Same sentence I got scammed by a guy when I woke up from an afternoon nap one Saturday and he asked me who I wanted in the Georgia/Florida football game...I said I wanted Georgia +14 or something like that....then they come back from break and the game is actually late in the 3rd quarter and Gators are up by like 28. But I paid off with breakfast the next morning anyway.

Then on MNF two days later won a Pittsburgh vs KC Chiefs play versus same dude and he refused to honor the wager. Prior to that he had been one of the bigg mouths in-house who drew a lot of attention from others...after that they pretty much blew him off when they saw him fail to show honor....

Oh the ways we get thru life....one day at a time

Did anyone ever see the episode of Seinfeld where Kramer was betting another guy in an airport which planes would take off first? I thought that was hilarious.

I've bet on lots of crazy things. When I was much, much younger I worked at a construction company for quite a while for a friends dad for extra money. We had to dig these big 5 foot wide by 5 foot deep holes for buildings where concrete goes, and we would bet each other something like $10 to see who could finish theirs first. We also would find rocks, maybe 10 each, and pick out a pole or sign, and bet who could hit it the most out of the 10 rocks or oranges you had to throw with. Another buddy and I would bet on Madden Football on the playstation, and even let the computer play the 2 teams sometimes, and leave for a while just to build the excitement of coming back towards the 3rd or 4th QTR to see who's team was winning and/or driving for a score. There's other crazy things I can't think of at the moment also. What we still do to this day, is what I wish I could get some on here to do, is bet and play fantasy football weekly. One week at a time, you get a few people to lay the pot, and pick your players, 2 QB's, RB's, WR's, etc., just as you would Regular fantasy football but just each week. Figure out a draf pattern thats fair and total the yardage for all players combined to make it simple. We even used to do this in the NBA nightly.

I once won $100 by betting on what WW2 battle an aircraft carrier was sunk during. (Lexington at Coral Sea, he said Midway).
