The problem with Dimaggio is that he performed all his heroics in New York, not San Francisco. Simply being born there really doesn't make him the Greatest Athlete in San Francisco Bay Area History, but hey what do I know?

Fish I just can't rank any older~era basketball players highly when it comes to all time greats. I firmly believe that baseball is the only sport in which players from "yesteryear" could compete with todays...........

Does 'Say Hey' Willie qualify?

We have two of the best football players ever , really three if you count Lott, hell even Steve Young ranks high on the alltime QB chart..

Jerry Rice may be the greatest football player in NFL history for that matter, with all he has done....Alot of good ones here.
