If you took a $70 shirt that you've had for less than a year and had drycleaned at a cleaners and it came back damaged with possibly no solution of it being repaired. What recourse do you have realistically if that shirt remains damaged?
I had a shirt that was dry cleaned 3 or 4 times at one cleaners with no damage and I decided to try and new, bigger cleaners. Well they screwed up my shirt and acting as if it's not their fault. We'll try this solution and etc.. Asked the guy how did this happen said dyed ran but not their fault. I've heard cleaners have customers by the balls in instances like this and taking them to small claims is a moot point unless it is a expensive garment because after you pay the fees and you win you will not get the full price of the shirt back because it is not brand new and has been worn.
Anybody been through this before and what did you do to resolve the situation?
I know this isn't sports related, mods so I understand if you move the thread. Good day folks!
