That the smaller sportsbooks would treat their employees better than bigger ones?

When working in manufacturing, I hired in as the 160th employee and that 1st 1.5-2.0 years was really fun, but as we grew in excess of 500 employees, chit went to hell. Does this apply to offshore books as well?

Thanks

YES in most cases thats what happens. But the BIGGER SHOPS offer more security job wise.

So many start ups go south leaving the employees out on thier asses with no recourse.

Has happened to a lot in Costa Rica...........

I dunno about sportsbooks but I was in HR for a while and in my experience there is a certain company size which optimizes morale. It depends on the amount of geographical territory being covered but for a single location about 100-200 is optimal. You get the feeling that big, important things are happening but you still can know everyone personally a bit. Below that it doesn't feel big enough and above that it gets too impersonal and the bosses tend to let the success get to their heads. Those are my observations anyway.

Yep, sounds like it would stand to logic. There is no need for this IMO. From what I seen, it was greed (imagine that), that lead to the downfall of morale, which will lead to the downfall of alot of good businesses.
