I'm sure many of us bet against NYM and Ericson. The guy gets hurt, but risked money is held until game is over. It didn't hurt me personally, I keep enough $$$ on account.

I'm talking Pinny and 5D here. If they can pay a H1 hoops bet in time to bet H2, why can't they refund a bet on bases almost immediately after starter doesn't start ?

It seems it would be to their advantage, to allow a square bettor an opportunity to bet quicker, lose, and send more money !
