A bust with the Yanks last season, now with the Dodgers, Weaver made his first start tonight at home Vs. the San Diego Padres. Weaver went 7 full innings, throwing 102 pitches, yielding 8 hits, 1 Run, 1 walk, and striking out 6. He was not involved in the decision (1-1 now in extras).
Rating B+.

Weaver will not be as bad as most expect.Coming to LA and getting out of NY was a very good thing for him.Too much pressure in NY and he couldn't handle it.Also pitching in Dodger Stadium will help out alot.

Nick - I feel the same way, I predicted he will be comeback palyer of the year in another thread a few weeks ago. I know it is only one start, but a good one.
