Looking at the Giants 3 straight nights it appears they are nowhere near as good as last year. Conversley the Padres are much stronger (on paper at least). The Giants will be lucky to play 500 ball this year with their pitching. Jason Schmidt is coming back from a bad elbow (never easy) and Rob Nen may never be back. Padres should win the west by default.
