SJ gets a PPG w/19.8 sec left after pulling the goalie

SJ scores w/2.9 sec left to tie game at 3

damphousse ends it in OT

forget the HI game (which i had) and all those who had UConn in the F4 vs. Duke

THIS is the BAD beat of the year!

Tuff one Wink - you had to know once you went into OT you were doomed. 2 goals in the last minute 1:20 OUCH.

as someone who had both Hawaii (in the infamous game) and Uconn, i'm not sure its any worse...

But i definitely feel for you in the "bad-beat" dept...

yes, definitely a bad beat. I have seen a few of those in my hockey career of betting. How's this for a bad beat? A few weeks ago, I had Buf +.5 -135 vs Toronto. Buffy is up 5-2 mid 3rd period and sitting pretty. Then Toronto score 3 unanswered including 2 in the last 2 minutes and one with seconds winding down. Then Mogilny scores in OT with seconds to go. That's right, Buf gets outscored by 4 goals in the final 10 or so minutes of regulation and OT..

And the night after that, Dallas sitting pretty with a 3-0 lead over SJ at home in Dallas with about 10 minutes to go in the game. SJ score 3 unanswered including 2 in the last minute and the game ends 3-3. Dallas were -0.5 -150. Ouch!!

You're never safe in hockey..

Lakerfan takes the cake, 12 games needing just one win, or even two ties. Unbeleivable bad beat. Thats almost a month of waiting.

I just figured out the odds of the L.A. Kings not getting at least a tie in their last 12 games.

Approximately 1600/1.

Ouch, now that's a BAD BEAT

That would be equivalent to leading 5-0 with 8 minutes to go in regulation and lose 6-5 in OT.. That sucks!!!! That DEFINITELY is the worst beat I have ever heard in quite some time.

can you imagine the guy that chased all his whole week on

LA +0.5 +145 for 3 dimes
LA un 5 -140 for 2 dimes
LA +220 on the M.L. for 2 dimes

then a 2 team parlay for 2 dimes

Now lets say this was his chase it all game bet of the week. Now this is Sunday, so the week ends tonight and he must settle after this here. Now before this game, he owed his bookie 18 dimes.

So in his mind, with a 3-1 lead, the guy is watching this game at a bar with his pals and is high fiving saying.. alright boys, looks like I am out of a hole and I don't have to pay my as shole bookie. Ha Ha.. f uck him.. now he owes me..

So if the score fiishes 3-1 (that was the score with 30 secs to go) he wins 19,630 and now collects 1630 from his bookie this week.

Even if the game ends 3-2, he ONLY loses 4850, and still wins over 3k on the game. Not too bad, right? But look what happens now after this game. Instead of collecting 1630 for sure, he now owes his bookie.

But instead now, instead of collecting 1630, he owes his bookie 17,800. How do you think this guy is feeling now? I am sure suicidal. And I can bet you that there is at least one guy in North America who went through this exact situation and chased on this game and ended up like this. So don't feel so bad if all you lost was 200 bucks on this crazy game.

But if you read what I said, I said that the guy was down 8 dimes going into that chase game. He would have won 13k if the game ends 3-2, so he loses 4850 on the week instead.
