say what happened when that last three hit the basket. Their afraid of the NCAA. NCAA needs TV
more that TV needs NCAA. Two words Packer will never mention on CBS, gambling or NBA.

ESPN has balls. They give NFL spreads and they they had Nick Backay on with his brackets.

I'm sure Packer wasn't aware of spread...Nantz definitely wasn't as he said "it doesn't matter" on final shot even though a lot of his viewers sure thought it mattered.

I mean, I can understand that he wouldn't want to diminish UConn's win by pointing out that they didn't cover (that would be silly), but don't make a clueless comment like that.

Billy Packer did call it, boasting the team who`s first big man picked up their 4th foul first would lose the game! In the end it killed Duke...They couldn`t hit an outside shot and had no one left in the middle...

I doubt it even occured to Billy Packer when the 3 fell..Now if Brent was calling the game he wouldn`t have been able to help himself, we all would have known if Brent had Duke after that last shot! LMAO

Remember when Al Michaels mentioned the spread in the SF/SD super bowl? Last play was a hail mary and he says "And half the country holding its collective breath..."
