That is a link to an article WWTS has up on their site. As a "watchdog" organization, fraternization that close with a sportsbook is a clear conflict of interest. Even if Buzzsaw comes in and says that it was WWTS' decision to run an article touting SBR, it still appears to be a gigantic conflict of interest. My suggestion for Buzzsaw would be to strongly recommend to WWTS that they cease touting his site in their promotional emails.

It is understandable when a book points out "watchdog" sites that have given them unbiased approval. A graphic advertising the award or a link to writing on a watchdog site are both acceptable. A line is clearly crossed, however, when the book goes so far as to write an entire article about a watchdog site as if it were some kind of legitimate journalism. At best it makes SBR and WWTS look like they are part of some mutual admiration society and at worst it makes players wonder if SBR is on the take. Just a bad move all around from both parties in my opinion.

I don't have a problem with books mentioning SBR or their rating, I know a good many do. Every SBR A+ rated book has earned their stripes and certainly WWTS has.

SBR is an asset to the posting community. This is nickel and dime. WWTS is a top tier book and SBR sends you there. The relationship between should be respectively as such.

More good going on there than bad.
