if people are irritated by the OFF TOPIC posts perhaps a vote should take place for a new FORUM called 'OFF TOPIC' for non sports related topics...

BTW, it takes longer to bitch about someones posts than it does to simply click close...

Its a fickle society these forums...not alot happening in the sports world the last couple weeks with the gap between bases and the end of the NCAA Hoops season...

Maybe the shelf life has indeed ran out for me, what can I say... I mean how would we all know each other if we didn`t ask the good stuff!!?? Am I right lol!

He posts some interesting stuff. People are probably starting to get irritated by the lack of sincerity that comes with a real poster vs the posting that is intended to induce chatter.

(kinda like going on a date with a hot chick then finding out your parents asked her to go or paid her

Anyone that complains about off topics/threads just because they don't pertain to wagering needs to take a long hard look at his/herself, because if they can't sometimes read or discuss other things in life besides gambling, then they have a serious problem........

Lets face it the Offshore forum is really not solely commenting about offshore sportsbooks and casinos anymore (has'nt been for a while). The forum has evovled into the cyber epi-center of The Prescription. Actual gambling threads are in a minority, and threads about sportsbooks, and casinos even more in the minority. The sports world in general is the primary source of subject matter, with a mix of off-topic stuff like we have seen lately. Late March is a slow sports news time, so more off-topic threads are popping up. The start of baseball along with hoops finals and pro playoffs will help a lot.

I can`t wait for crabbin season...nothing better than passing a long summer day on the water (prefer a weekday) with a blue sky , sunshine and calm waves...although I have been out there during thunderboomers too...I wish I could have my favorite posters over for a crab feast Journeyman style !!

Fortunately I am not socially inept and am able to interact with people outside the internet. When I want to take a break from gambling or talk about something else, I go to them.

When I want to read/share my thoughts about online sports gambling I come to RX.

There are plenty of other forums and chat rooms with a "general topics" theme.

With all due respect Drunk, I don't think anyone here that posts off topic subjects can necesarilly be characterized as "socially inept"
For the most part the people talking in those kind of threads are just shooting the breeze, its not like at some other sites where everytime you turn around they're bashing or making up lies to hurt people...That is the kind of crap that should be thrown in the dumpster...

Certain well known losers who actually brag about scamming banks and laughing about it...Or you have one particular

guy who posts 10-15 topics each day ripping everything from posters to sportsbooks he has no clue about...these are the socially inept, trying to bring people down into their miserable existences.

To each his own, TheRx doesn't go around trashing people for no reason, that I do know!

Drunkguy...no offense but, I think most people can interact fine in real life that post here, I for one treat others on this forum as if they are right in front of me...why would I want to flame someone that I would not flame if they are right in front of me or try to be someone im not..makes no sense when posters do that BUT, thats there choice if they want to...

Some of the Offtopic threads here are just for shooting the shit. Just look at it as a form of entertainment, if I see a thread I do not want to look at I just do not click the link to it

I just did some maintenance on the swinging Rx saloon doors. Working fine. I even put a little oil on the hinges. The doors swing both ways. If the bourbon is no good here, then try tons of other forums on the net. A variety of bourbon to go around.
