Police are studying CCTV footage of a masked gang who raided a Manchester casino armed with a Samurai sword.
The gang of four men burst into the Grosvenor Casino on Empire Street in Strangeways at 2015 GMT on 24 March.
They punched the manageress in the face when she struggled to open the safe, then escaped with cash in a BMW that was later found burnt-out in Cheetham.
Detectives say the men were white, in their late teens or early 20s, with strong Manchester or Salford accents.
The BMW was seen driving away from the casino and was found minutes later on Barrowhill Road.
The robbers were armed with a Samuri sword, crowbars and baseball bats.
Detective Constable Antonia Mayberry, of Greater Manchester Police, said: "The men came armed with some nasty weapons and had no hesitation in using violence when they became frustrated.
"They punched the manageress in the face when they were unable to get into the safe.
"Although she was not seriously injured, she was left extremely shaken by the ordeal, as were all the other members of staff at the casino."
