First there were possible indications that the owners of CARIB were having their bank accounts seized.

Now SBR is reporting this............

Player files complain against Carib Sports (SBR rating C-), claiming to have lost his balance to bets he did not place. Carib management originally agrees to to provide SBR and player with IP addresses to resolve dispute. Apparently Carib is hiding something, as they failed to provide that information and now refuses to take SBR phone calls.

I think they are probably safer than having a cock fight

CARIB has a fairly long period reputation of being a solid book.

Many posters here believe in them greatly.

What do we all make of these latest statements regarding CARIB.

Fish,
Where can I read this article?? I guess since I'm not a big fish in the sea, just bet a dime or less a game and never had any problems! But would love to hear any complaints bout them!! 2 weeks ago I asked for ATM payouts 4 days in a row for 600$, 900$, 400$, 1100$ and each time was in my ATM account in less than 5 minutes! But you never know!!

Honestly I find that article hard to believe! Anyone can post anything they want! Whos to say someone has his id and pin and wagered on another computer?? Don't think they would stoop that low as they have been in business so long!

Homestly, TROUBLE seems to follow this place whereever they go.
I liked them alot. But stopped playing there when their website was down over and over and over again. I used the old 3 strike rule. Probably for the best as they had or still have some serious US gov. problem(s). But I found them to be very friendly and had no problems.

I've used Carib for a number of years. On the plus side, they are legit and pay quickly. On the minus side, their delayed odds are really annoying. I know of no other book that does it this way. More than once, I've inquired about this. And while their customer service is very polite, getting a straight answer regarding this topic seems near-impossible. Also, Carib is the only book I know of that does not offer free Neteller withdrawals. Some books require x number of days in-between withdrawals in order for it to be free; but not Carib. What's extra annoying about this is that if you want to withdraw more than $2500 at once (via Neteller), you are required to pay multiple withdrawal fees. If Carib was a reduced-vig book, I might be more understanding here. But they're not. One other annoying thing (to a lesser extent): their $250 limit on 1st half NBA totals is on the low side. On the plus side, they will let you bet again, but only after an odds adjustment. I keep Carib as a secondary out, and with their auto-adjusting odds, one can get some good dog prices on 2nd half NBA totals at times. However, there are many other books I would recommend ahead of Carib. No idea what the SBR blurb is about -- hope there's a followup.

Fish,
I'm sure there are more posters here that play with Carib and they should give their reviews! This SBR thing needs to be addressed too!

My only bad experience with them has been their terrible software.

I like them. They book on action which puts them in a different league of book.

As others have said the high neteller fees, delay line updates, and past uptime issues all are things that detract. Also there limits of late seemed to have gotten lower.

Good customer service and unique lines though make them worth considering.

I have played at carib for years and never had any problems with payouts etc. Also they do have great customer service which is refreshing. The neteller fee's im not thrilled over, but not so mad to pay them knowing i will get my payout when i want it. Overall to me always been a solid out.

I use Bowmans but I have two friends who use Carib and they have not had any problems. We are all fairly "small" players $50 a game . But like I said they haven't had any problems.

I've been w/ them for years. Excellent book.
Great customer service. Recently did a sportsbook transfer for 10K from them to olympic. No problems.

I have used Carib for years and never had a problem. SBR is a joke. I rarely put any credence to what they say. I remember they reported a no pay complaint about GCS and downgraded the book. Three weeks later they said the complaint was bogus. Slander the book and cause irreparable harm and then say "nevermind".

Fish,
I think its time to rethink Carib into the non advertising reccommendation list! Really no negatives here! 1st class sportsbook!!
