Havent looked forward to seeing a college basketball this much in years.

This should be a fun game to watch.

Not saying I like the bet, but I could not believe OKIE ST. opened at only -2 some places yesterday.

Knew that wasnt going to hold.

Felt VERY strongly that the correct opening number should have been -3, which is where it sets at some places currently.

Anyway, enjoy the game everybody..............and most of all, hope all of you have a winning weekend after it is all said and done.

Fishhead,

You made a similar post when St. Joseph's played against Wake Forest, and I believe you stated that you loved Wake Forest in that game...

The oddsmakers know a lot more than you are giving them credit for, especially at this time of year...

There is a reason that the line opened at minus 2 and don't be surprised if it CLOSES there as well...

Have a great weekend,

THE SHRINK

For sure, those that opened the game at -2 had thier reasons obviously.........the majority reason being they thought they were using a solid number.

Opening the game at -2 was not a solid number when now the game is up to -3 and even -3.5 someplaces now........regardless of the final outcome.

St. Joes will be playing a real defense today, Wake`s young team doesn`t have a defense yet..All of Wake Forest`s players will be back again next year, better learn to play a little tougher on the defensive end...

What gets me with St. Joes, everyone says all along how they can`t play with the big boys and they`d be a .500 team in some power conferences, well they have proven that they are for real...This will be the toughest team (matchup wise) they will face...

St Joe`s has proved they deserved a #1 seed!

No question about it, ST JOES has done themselves proud in this tournament thus far.......... and have been a joy to watch.

There are still many naysayers that still are not believers however and is precisely why I believe the opening number of only -2 was a tad to low.

Anyway, as stated in my opening post, really looking forward to this game personally.

Nelson can beat ANY guard off the dribble. IMO the key will be if Carrol and/or West can contribute too against that fierce Cowboy defense.

It should be an exciting game no matter what, and if forms holds true we will be talking about UConn-Duke next week.
I'm so thankful and will give a gratuitous plug for TiVo, because I work evenings and I am able to watch ALL of the action with it.

Call me crazy, but I think Ok. State is the best team I have seen so far. I am very impressed with their team play. I have heard that they are not very deep on the bench. But they play as a team. The ball movement is very fluid and everyone seems to think as one. I really like Ok State to win and cover tonight and make it to the finals. But Kansas is starting to play some tough ball too. But I like Ok State and really enjoy watching them play.

I will take the Ok. St backcourt of Tony Allen and John Lucas in this match-up. St. Joe's perimiter shooters Nelson, Barley, Carrol and West won't get the open looks they have had so far in the Tourney. Inside look for Ok. St's McFarlin and Graham to dominate. Cowboys -3 -108 at Pinny right now for a lot.

Wilheim ?:
Wasn't it Tom Hagen who said that line and not Sonny Corleone as pictured?

Bulldog - that is correct, I decided to use it anyway. Hagen used it in the brothel scene with Sen. Geary, right after Geary was set up by the family with the dead hooker.
