One hell of a tournament? Give me a break, this team was lucky to get to where they were and NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN A 1 SEED!!!!! I hope all you bozos who were touting St. Joes with your future bets are happy now. Told you guys to save your $$$$$$ on playing St. Joes and Gonzaga to win it all.
In saying all of the above, I must admit St. Joes played one helluva game vs. Okie Stat. Wil, I dont think they played one hell of a tounament like you said, the first 2 games were games they SHOULD HAVE WON if they were the great team and 1 seed that they should have been.

SB.....This one really stung. Even though I went to Nova, I always root for the city teams. I don't understand all this BS about a 1 or 2 seed. You still have to play the games. It doesn't matter what Joe Smoe or Billy Pecker thinks. They were the #1 seed period, end of story.
They had an awesome 30-2 season and a nice tourney run. The Hawks were great to watch all year. It was frustrating watching them miss the wide open shots they made all year.
Ok St is a good team and they deserve credit for getting the win. That being said, they have no shot to win it all, none. They dominated the boards, got almost every lucky bounce, and still needed a desperation shot to beat the Hawks.
I am really proud of this St Joe's squad. At least they made it to the Elite Eight unlike the true fraud #1 seeds Stanford and Kentucky.
On the bright side Sportsbet, the Phillies are right around the corner. I can't wait to check out the new ballpark.
