The site i am working with is down. is it right that it is possible to block certain areas of the world from accessing a site and starting ddos attacks? i mean as far as i know you have the possibility for not giving them access to the site. so there must be a way to block them. the question now is do they use ips from eastern europe or just any and can you look up the ip which attacks the site in a log? how long do they use a certain ip during a attack and when do they change it? ddos is pretty new for european based books.
