First use recently.

I received the card in less than a week after an easy online neteller request. Although there was an FSV machine up town, I used my banks ATM nearby and paid the fees. Hell, it was a 20 minute drive up town, so I stayed in the hood. I don't like to drive either. I requested two payouts of $400 each. I received the funds and went on my way. Nice service and I highly recommend.

Thumbs up

I used it today to withdraw 2 payments of 500. Transferred money from my account to the card and it was there in 2 minutes.

VERY easy G!

Fishhead,

Let's just say I am watching the weather on RADAR.

Might work, might not.

But not going to make it easy for them.

The FSV machine only allowed $400. I used a machine associated with my bank.

Limits on the card are per bank per day, not simply a per day limit for all banks ... so theoretically, if you had $2,000 on your card and you went to 4 different bank ATMS that would honor the card, and each had a $500 per day limit, you could take out $2,000

I was in vegas and withdrew $1000.00 in one transaction. Perfect. 10 100 dollar bills, one fee, and a record for withdrawing $1000 for gambling in Vegas. (In case of audit etc)

If what Dante says about you is true, then that's a lot of Big Macs you had that day

Jazz-

Do you know this for a fact? I was told by NETeller that the limit for all transactions is 1K per day.

BTW, the most you can load to the card is 1K for sure per day.

FWIW...I also used the ATM option to withdraw 980 at one time and for the first time recently....

used the DEBIT option (Point Of Sale) to make a purchase using my pin and it was smooth as silk.

swami: yes, I know it for a fact. That 1K limit by NT is simply the amount you are allowed to move to the card each 24 hour period. 7 days, you could move 7K to the card if you felt like it (actually, $6,986 if you count the transaction fees to simply move it between your NT accounts). My point was that if you do have that much cash, you can take out the maximum each day that a particular bank allows, like from Bank of America, Bank of Panama, Bank of Scientology, etc, which of course can all sum up to the amount you have on the card balance, if you had that many different banks offering ATMS for the FSV card.

Jazz-

Thanks. That is VERY good news. It appears that NETeller gave me the wrong information.

Interesting they'd say that to you. I once took out 1.1K a week or so ago on a single day, which is why I'm saying the limit cannot be 1K or my last WD would have been declined. Whether they have some other upward limit, i haven't had the pleasure of encountering it.

It is definately good to have another option to move funds. It is a little expensive. (I say that without knowing the true overhead)

If you base it on 1000 per day moves that you attempt to get right away....

1000 to card 2.00
2 ATM W/D at 1.50 3.00
atm charge x 2 4.00

.9%

That is not so bad but .75 per POS transaction is too bad. I don't want to pay and extra buck every time I get gass.
