Wild Bill,
Just read your most recent article and thought it was very good. I am interested, as probably many are here about your inside connection. "Peter".

The jist of what I jot from the article is that the government may eventually put pressure on banks--financial institutions to stop ALL forms of payments. The banks being the first in line. Can I assume, that your friend "Peter" would say that the government is very well aware of Neteller's function and they will be the first target for the banks in the US to eliminate? We understand that Banks (my understanding anyway) are basically "Republican Friendly" as opposed to the Democratic party for the most. Therefore they are being left alone at the present because of the political season that is drawing near?
How long would "Peter" estimate that Neteller has left?
Thanks .

Of course they are well aware of Neteller. The thing about them is they are Canadian and the US government has already picked a number of fights with them, so they just might be sitting back and taking it easy for now. Just remember this OMT, bank transfers are beyond legal reproach in most cases. Legal experts in the Clinton administration admitted that if you send money through an intermediary to another country and the intermediary doesn't participate in the income of the book itself, but just charges standardized fees, then there really isn't a legal case against the bettor or the intermediary. This is because the only crime that would possibly be committed in this case would be the Wire Act and that would purely be on the shoulders of the books that are located offshore. If the DOJ takes a shot at banks, legally, they would have a near impossible case to win. The banks would be no more responsible for a crime happening than a phone company would in connecting your calls or the ISP that routes your requests to their websites. The DOJ talks a very tough fight, and yes they have strong weapons they can use, but ultimately none of the weapons is anything more than a threat to needlessly harrass businesses and individuals with little chance of actually getting a conviction. Think about that the DOJ is paid for by all of us; how do they explain to the US public that they are wasting resources on a fight against something that they couldn't get a conviction on and was all aimed at just bothering US businesses and citizens. They have a very fine line they have to take and that is why they are careful in how they target right now.

Even if the DOJ wanted start an unwinable fight we would just have to take an extra sidestep to avoid the problem. Take the money you want to gamble with and transfer it to a Canadian bank account then to Neteller. Neteller offers EFT's with Canadian banks so it will be business as usuall minus a few extra days of bank time.
