Mr Jones has won the "Gettin to know ya" NBA contest, and collected another $1000.00 from Royal Sports.....

The runner-up, Nets2k2 was not able to play many of his games, due to traveling, and since he is way behind, has graciously conceded to Mr Jones.......Nets played a tough game, and collected $1100.00 throughout the contest for his good showing....

With this additional $1000.00, Mr Jones amassed a total of $2100.00 for this contest, WAY TO GO MR JONES.........

Also, a great big thanks to ROYAL SPORTS, for stepping in and taking this contest over for Gamblers Avenue......They get a lot of bad press around here, but they stepped in for this contest, and never missed a beat.....And i think any of the players will vouch for the fact that all winnings were credited quickly........

This was a fun concept for a contest, and I hope all the players enjoyed it......if so, we can try and do it again next year, if a book wants to sponsor it for us...

Although I did so in the contest thread, I just want to take the opportunity to thank everyone in this thread also.

Thanks go to bucs for running this thing without a flaw. Thanks also to Royal for picking up the ball when they didn't have to. And of course thanks to nets2k2 and all the other players in this contest.
