Royal Sports March Madness Tournament
Rules and Regulations
Eligibility
Only valid Royal Sports Accounts are eligible to receive contest entries
Only one contest entry may be submitted per account
To receive an entry, the Royal Sports Account must be funded with a minimum deposit of $50
The contest entry must be claimed by the account holder by sending an e-mail to contest@betroyal.com
All entries must be submitted before 6:00 pm EST on Wednesday, March 17th, 2004
Objective:
To earn as many points possible
General
The March Madness Tournament consists of a total of 63 games throughout 6 rounds of single elimination.
Pool standings will be automatically updated at www.tournamentpools.com as the tournament progresses. Entry holders may also request updates sent via e-mail.
Earning points:
Points will be awarded for predicting the winner for each game
Point spreads will not be taken into consideration to determine the winner of the games
Maximum possible score 192 points
Point awarded for a correct prediction will vary throughout the 6 rounds of the tournament, as follows:

Winning:
The person with the most points at the end of the tournament will be determined the winner
Tiebreaking:
In the event that one or more entries are tied in total points, the winner will be determined in the following manner:
Entry with the most points in Round 6
Entry with the most points in Round 1
The contest coordinator may add an additional tiebreaker after Round 5 if a tie seems eminent after considering the first two tiebreakers. Entry holders will be asked to submit a prediction for the total points scored in the championship game. The closest prediction submitted will determine the winner.
If there are any ties after the tiebreaking process, the corresponding prize will be divided equally amongst the tied entries.
Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded as follows to the winners:
1st place: 3 day/2 night Las Vegas Vacation Package for two (Airfare and Hotel Accommodations)
2nd place: 40” Big Screen T.V.
3rd place: Xbox
4th place: $500 Royal Sports Account
6th place: $300 Royal Sports Account
7th – 10th place: $100 Royal Sports Account
10th- 16th place: $50 Royal Sports Account
