MAYS LANDING, N.J. -- A New York man has pleaded guilty to stealing more than $180,000 in casino chips from two Atlantic City casinos.
Bradley Vick faces five years in prison after entering a guilty plea on Thursday to theft by unlawful taking.
Authorities alleged Vick masterminded the theft of $182,800 worth of chips from a high stakes blackjack table at the Trump Taj Mahal on April 23, 2002.
Police said Vick had 24 $5,000-denomination chips from the casino in his possession when he was arrested during a prostitution sweep in New York days after the theft.
Vick also stole $21,000 in chips from Caesars Atlantic City in February 2002.
Police said juveniles Vick used in the snatch-and-run robberies led them to him@@@@
