HOFSTRA matches up quite well against ODU, as they split their Regular Season Games this year, with each team holding on to their Home Court advantage...
The key here is that ODU lost 3 of its last 4 games, including a big one at home to George Mason with their biggest crowd of the year there (I was in attendance, too)...
ODU's ONLY WIN in this stretch was a LUCKY WIN at HOME to a very bad William and Mary team, as ODU hit a 3 pointer at the buzzer to avoid losing its final four games..
On the other hand, HOFSRA is going in the opposite direction, and they are also better coached than ODU...
I smell an outright upset here, making the points an added bonus...
2- GEORGE MASON minus 4 1/2 vs. Delaware
I saw BOTH of these teams play ODU in February and I was extremely impressed with George Mason's DEFENSE.
In addition, GEOEGE MASON has excellent guards to go with a couple of oustanding big men...
Delaware has not been able to win any big games on the road in this conference all year long, and they should be completely overmatched against GEORGE MASON...
Incidentaly, I pick GEOERGE MASON, although the number 3 seed, as my sleeper team to WIN this tournament and receive an automatic bid to the BIG DANCE, too...
