Western Michigan, Southern Illinois, Manhattan...just to name a few. Southern IL is very good, but I don't see them getting under a 10 seed.

Illini, are you kidding? If SIU continues to roll they will be a top 5 seed. I'd like to see them in a second round matchup with Illinois. Maybe in a 4/5 seed game.

You may be right. I think Creighton got a 6 seed last year. If they go undefeated and win the conference tourney, then maybe. But they were damn good last year and the year before, and got like an 11 and a 12.

The Ragin' Cajuns of Lafayette. Assuming that they win their conference tourney, they'll likely recieve a 13 or 14 seed. They are a very dangerous team, imo.

Iowa state doesnt get in tourney unless it wins its conference tourney...zero conference wins on road..thats a killer (they even lost at baylor)..missouris win last nite did wonders for them and they need to beat kansas at home last reg season game of year to get in..think winner of colorado/oklahoma tonite will be last big 12 team that gets in.. (assuming they win all the remaining games they are supposed to)..

Seton Hall will win it all.

I just like saying that. Excuse me for my silliness.

I like the Lafayette suggestion. Looks like a good No.14 team to back.

Beware of SIU...and Creighton for that matter.

I could see the Saluks doing some damage this year. As far as that goes, if Nebraska makes it in, they could pull a shocker.

only problem is they are (mis)led by the biggest idiot in all of college hoops - wayne mor(on)gan - someone who makes steve lavin look like john wooden. mor(on)gan is as clueless as they come.

as for LIVE dogs - 1 has already been mentioned: Utah State

i will name the other school in the big west that could go, too: Pacific.

in the ncaas - when defense steps it up and wins games - the tigers can play defense and if they make the ncaas - will give someone fits. pacific was within about 6-10 points of duke most of their game in alaska and as i have said a million times - and will say it one more time (at least) bob thomasson of UOP is one of the very best coaches in america. not many people know who he is - but you will be hard pressed to find 10 coaches out there better than him. someone i put on that list of top 10 coaches is USU's stew morrill. if you don't believe me go back and look at the tape of last year's opening ncaa game between USU and kansas. the "mighty" jayhawks were a USU trey at the buzzer from going to OT. morrill embarrassed roy williams the entire game - outcoaching him so badly it was laughable. if the 2 had switched side, and morrill had coached rock choke jayhawk and williams coached USU, morrill's kansas team would have won by at least 30.

in the early rounds - look for huge coaching mismatches and that is where the line value will be.

if michigan gets a bid they don't deserev, load up against the clueless tommy amaker and that will be your easiest winniner of the tourney.

Missouri if they get in. Seems like there is always an underachieving big-name team that sneaks in and makes a serious run. Remember, they were in the top-10 in December.
