People are curious why so much hassle to withdraw based on the Royal fiasco.

Whatever the case on Royal.. I posted the following...

"Let's call a spade a spade boys!!!!

The reason they don't check earlier is this....

They don't care if a 4 year old kid on life support sends them money. They will take unlimited money from anyone. They will offer big incentives to get it.

The problem comes when you want a payout. Then they take advantage and dot every "i" and cr0ss every "t" to take time to see if you will lose it back.

Furthermore.... Every corporation in Vegas would operate the same way if it were not that they have to deal with people in person and therefore bear the responsiblity to check ID. You think they care whose money they take?"

This is balls on accurate. It explains alot as far as why it is so easy to deposit but so cumbersome in some cases to make any decent sized withdrawl.

Any comments?

Packer, you make some very good points. The thing about money is that it is much easier to give some away than get some back in almost all types of business. Just opening a bank account while it does require ID it is easier to deposit than withdraw, especially larger amounts. I am not convinced Royal, while having some current well publicised pay-out issues, are alone when it comes to requiring players dot every I and cr0ss every T to withdraw large amounts. I believe you are absolutely correct most books will take unlimited money from almost anyone, that is why they are in business. Regardless if this practice is right or wrong, most posters here know how to make deposits correctly to begin with, accurate EM addys, phone numbers, etc. in order to eliminate the chance of having problems on the withdrawal end.

Thanks for the response Wil.

I am just saying that ALL gambling related activities (Vegas incuded) make it quick and easy to take ALL of everyone's money. Money from anyone young or old (or too young).

They then use all ways possible to keep people active as long as possible to attempt to KEEP all the money.

Sort of a clever con like some of the comps in Vegas. Nobody gives these bonus awards or comps because they want to benefit anyone besides themselves to drain people of more money!
