People are deciding that winning is more important than entertaining. Maybe that is the problem, as coaches keep their jobs only if they are winning. This directly conflicts with the fact that sports are for entertainment purposes. People want to see scoring, teamwork and great athletic feats. And they pay big bucks to be entertained.

Sounds like Grinnell is playing no-huddle basketball. I for one would like to see ESPN broadcast one of their games. Playing all 15 players made me think of hockey lines changing shifts every minute or so. The coach at Grinnell just might be on to something, super offensive hoops. Things could be worse, does anyone remember the Dean Smith 4 corner stall games from the 70's? You had scores like 8 to 5 or 9 to 7. Those games forced the NCAA to install a shot clock. Go Grinnell.

Wild Bill-

Was thrilled to see an article on Grinnell!

I grew up about 50 miles from the college and am very familar with what they are doing there.

I was fortunate to actually catch a game there two years ago. Great little gym.

Here is a photo...........
