Is there a legitimate reason for some books designing their interface to time out after x minutes? I've posed this question to a few books with the answers typically being "security reasons" and/or "limited resources". I don't buy these reasons because many books (Olympic, WSEX, and Canbet, and Intertops for example) get by just fine without a timeout 'feature'. Hollywood, IIS, and Cascade all have short timers which I find very annoying. Pinnacle also times out, but at least has a bigger timeout value than the others.

Books leave to much exposure when allowing one to be logged in 24/7. The players watching/betting on the moves would hammer them before they had a chance to move the number. I am not a big fan either, but understand why they need the control.
