I read somewhere that the Tropicana is no longer taking reservations after April. I guess that is the old property in Vegas now.

Man, I remember when I first moved to Vegas in the early 80's, the TROP POOL was THE place to hang out.

I highly doubt that. They publicly mentioned that they are looking early 2005 for making a decision on what to do with it. They did temporarily stop taking reservations for the convention area after June of this year, but then I heard they started up again. The place isn't stupid, they won't "quietly" shut the place down. It will be advertised heavily as the last chance to see a legend with a lot of hype about what they will build in its place.
