Cubs/Yanks or Cubs/Bosox would be great. But everybody has got to get through the playoffs first

I remember the old eight team American and National Leagues where 154 games gave you a ticket to the Series. Sure that is ancient history and we have now what we have and have had it for a long time. Of course it won't change and and it can't change.

Still its a shame that a short playoff series in which a single miscue or bonehead play by one player [or one fan as we have learned] can eliminate a great club and leave us with a World Series that is not indicative of what took 162 games to sort out.

Just sounding off a bit about the good old days here. Young guys just ignore this post. But I just kind of wish you guys knew baseball back when it made more sense than dollars. It was awesome!!

The pennant races will never be like they used to be......your so right Mr. Jones.

Can you imagine this year if the YANKS and REDSox were battling for a division title that would lead them into a FINAL FOUR playoff or like in the pre 70's, an immediate advancement to the WORLD SERIES!!

on paper, the cubs have the best pitching in baseball. my personal opinion is that they will not make the playoffs so, this will only improve my payout if i am right.

good luck.
