Just picked up a new computer with Windows XP, using AOL as my internet hook up and getting pelted with these damn grey pop up boxes. I saw a post where Jazz recommended Pop Up blocker from the Ad Ware site but that still hasn't stopped it.

Any help or feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks all

Hate,

Use spybot, go to safer-networking.org, you can dowload it there. BTW what does HateTheRiverCard stand for...?

Get the Mozilla Firebird browser. I've forgotten what pop-ups were like since I've been using that.

Thanks for the info guys, I'll try a few.

Dr... I was in a game once at the casino and lost something like 4 or 5 hands on the last card (also know as the RIVER CARD) which led me to use HateTheRiverCard.

Ad-Aware will get rid of the any ads that have affected registry keys and deeper files. Panicware will stop the pop-ups.
