I am just an average gambler and have this question all these years and hoping some of you can answer this following question:
1. When betting on the second half, and if you are taking the losing side, are you better off than those who bet on the same team for the whole game? For instance, take the last Pro Bowl, the line was NFC minus 1 for the second half while they were losing by 18 at the time. Realisticly, the final must have AFC to win by a margin of at least 18 for those who took on the NFC on the second half to lose. Did it also mean for those who took on NFC after the first half, got 17 points versus those who got only 3 had they taken NFC before the game started? Can you explain that?

If you took the nfc in the second half, and they ended up losing the game by 16, you would have been a winner.
