Immediately following the Super bowl,

George W. Bush called the Patriots and complemented
them on a great game.

Al Gore called the Panthers and said he thought they
were robbed.

Bill Clinton called Janet Jackson.

What ruins the joke is that Bush stated he went to bed before halftime. So he couldn't have called the Pats immediately after the SB.

I know, I'm anal. But really, he went to bed. That's how he dodged most of the questions during the Nipplegate media frenzy.
