Beware these FAKE Citibank emails...

Not that you will need any help seeing that the following email is a fake but you neve know....lol

This is a email I got today....made me laugh but somebody might get tricked.

Dear Citibank_Online User_,

This _email_ was sennt by_the Citi_Bank sevrer to
veerify _your _e-mail_ adderss.
You muust cloetmpe this prsoces by clicking on_the link
beloow and enntering in the smal _window_ your _Citibank
Debbit full Card Nummber and Pin that you use in_the local Atm_Machine.
That_is done for your pcretotion -A- because some of_our
_members_ no lgeonr have acecss to their email adeesrdss
and we must verify it.

Just sent them a bunch of fake ones.And surprisingly,mail e mail address was verified each time.

They misspell it on purpose, believe it or not. It's mispelled to get thru junk mail filters...

i've been getting alot of junk mail of late also with plenty of misspelled (could'nt figure why

) words most of which have been for viagra that i need it

I went to the Citibank website and they in fact did have this email on their "suspicious e-mail" list.

it goes to a site ihm5jn0gb.DA.RU (ru= russia)
The citigroup part is to the left of the @ sign, which makes it a parameter sent to the webpage, but not really part of the web address.
