All Nextel Cup drivers will be valued from $2.5 million tapered down to $300,000 based upon last years point standings. The Champion, Matt Kennseth, will be the highest priced driver. Select 8 drivers staying under a $10,000,000 salary cap. Each player will be allowed 3 trades per half of the season. If a team folds, you will be given a free trade, but must remain under the $10,000,000 cap. If a new driver takes over temporarily then you will have the option of a free trade or you may keep that driver Even if over $10,000,000 until it becomes a permanent partnership with the team. Once announced permanent, you must use a free trade if over the $10,000,000 cap. Each of your 8 drivers will be scored exactly the way they are scored by NASCAR after the race. If NASCAR deducts penalty points for one of your drivers, then you will lose those points as well. The season will be for 36 races. Each week there will be a winner(s). There will be year end winners. Winners are determined by the compilation of points by your 8 drivers after each race.

Would you consider participating? There will be atleast a $200 post-up fee.

General......while we're here..is there a member limit to this contest, and what were the "estimated" prize payoffs.......Or do you have to wait and consider how many participants there may be?

Players.......I used to have no interest in NASCAR either, and swore I never would....But My suggestion to everyone would be...... that entering a contest or pool such as this will amazingly change you opinion and interest in it......Trust me......

There will have to be a limit. I can only handle prob 20 max. Payoffs depend on participants and any sponsor kick-in.

Doesn't look like much interest Hache. Sign-up is in Other Sports.

I need 15-20 players that want to have fun with NASCAR.

General, although I attend a few Tampa Bay Storm games a year, I simply cannot believe there is more interest in an Arena Football contest than a NASCAR. I used to be a critic of NASCAR and promised I would never ever gain interest or watch it...BUT......once some people at work talked me into joining a contest there, I bought a NASCAR preseason magazine displaying drivers, past race history....etc......and as the year went on, I learned more and more, and finished 4th out of 12.....Not bad for someone that had never ever watched the "sport" before last year. Wagering/Gambling on it brought an unbelievable interest and excitement to it that I would of never, ever admitted before......

I am asking for a $200 post-up and hoping the book will kick in a little as well. I have not gotten a sponsor yet. Just seeing if their is any interest. The link to the rules is in the first post.
