NBA steam

For the last month I have been tracking NBA steam. The steam has been hitting at an outrageous rate. A month is a small sample size. Does anyone know how steam plays hit historically?

They've just been killing the totals.
The historical hit rate depends on where in the food chain you are and who's steam it is. Good steam, first number probably hits 57% or more.
