Do you have a contact in Neteller security that I could get in touch with directly? I've just spoken with Nathan and a few other people in security, and they have been totally incompetent in handling what is a somewhat trivial matter. He's telling me that James is who I need to talk to, and he is out of the office -- any chance you know anyone there that I could talk to?

I am so fed up with the people at Neteller security right now I could scream. They arbitrarily close an account without notifying anyone, and then make you jump through hoops just to get the account reopened. First it was just having the account holder call and request, then it was wanting the last 4 digits of the account holder's social (which the account holder never had to provide when opening the account). After both of those were reluctantly provided to them, they now have the audacity to require a fax with a photo ID AND a bill with the address on it.

The General -- I don't know how much pull you have there, especially on a weekend where it looks like anyone with any authority is out of the office, but I would appreciate some help on this issue.

Sound of Silence,

I recommend you follow their instructions. A few bad apples have made it harder on all of us. Following their direction will get this resolved faster I think. I do not believe there is anything I can do for you in this matter. They have procedures and I am sure they are just following them.

I realize the reason for their procedures, and can respect that -- but this is a situation where I've constantly been told "all that we will require is this", and when that has been provided they have added more.

This is not even bringing up the two things that set all of this in motion that should have never happened:

1) Neteller should never close an account without at least attempting to contact the account owner.

2) Neteller shouldn't be accepting transfers from sportsbooks to accounts they have marked as closed.

If either one of those logical things would have been done, there would be no problem here.

And a followup call from Colin making sure everything was straightened out. In the span of ~12 hours I've gone from being very upset at the way Neteller operates to being very impressed with their resolvement of issues. If I bitch where credit is due, I must also give praise where credit is due -- thanks for the call Colin.
