Problem with BetZone

I should've known this book was trouble from the get-go. Anyway, I played with them a few months for a small amount and decided to make a neteller payout request on 12/19/2003 through their Betzone.com website. At this time, I also emailed them my ID documents (passport, utility bill). A few days passed and I received no response from them whatsoever. I emailed them. No response. A couple days later I called the customer service rep who told me that no ID documents had been received. They could've at least informed me of this fact beforehand instead of waiting a week for me to call. That's at least a yellow flag for me right there. Anyway, I said I'd re-send my information and hung up. Promptly afterwards, I did just that.

Now around this time, I was in the process of moving to a new address, and for the next few weeks, I was unable to check my email. When I finally got back to my email on or around 01/23/2004, I saw no response from Betzone and the payout still not processed. Yellow flag again. I called customer service and expressed my displeasure at the delay and the rep had no clue about the reasons why. I also told them my address had been changed and the rep told me I would need to send in new ID documents reflecting my new address before the payout can be processed (I'm not allowed to manually change the address on their website). Ok, fine.

So on 01/24/04 I requested the neteller payout through their website again, and sent them another email with my new ID attachments, and specifically requested that they inform me when they receive the ID documents and also inform me as to the status of my neteller payout request. This time, I do receive a reply shortly thereafter, confirming they received the documents, that my address had been successfully updated, and that my payout request will be processed soon. Just to make sure, I log into my account at Betzone to find that indeed, my address had been updated to the new one. Satisfied, I waited for a few days.

About a week pass. Nothing. Red flag. I call them AGAIN. This time I have their confirmatory email at my disposal and they have no excuse. The rep mumbles something about his apparent inability to locate my payout request and that the payout department is not here at the moment, and that he will inform them of this next morning. He assured me that the payout will be processed "within the next day." A few days pass after that, and NOTHING. Big red flag. I try emailing them again. A few days later, no response. No response as of today and payout request remains unprocessed. I even tried today making the transfer request directly through Neteller (aka BetRoyal / Bet365), using the Betzone merchant code BETZ9200. This attempt results in an error message that says something like the following: "The transaction cannot be processed at this time. Please contact BetZone customer service." It doesn't even save the transaction in a "pending" mode like it usually does; it flat out REJECTS it. And I also find out today that betzone.com is down, at least from my end. Triple Red Flag.

As of right now I'm in a bind as to what can be done about this. I'd certainly appreciate any help from anyone with a bit more pull in this matter, to get this book to muster up some accountability for itself. Is Jake affiliated with this book in any way? I heard he's a good guy.

I wanted to let it be known that Jake handled the matter immediately (even before I had a chance to write to him!) and I found out the payout had now been processed. Thanks again Jake.

Am I,

So you know, it has absolutely NOTHING to do with money issues. Also, Betzone is affiliated with GSC books and in only shares the call center with the Sportbet group. Completely separate entities, and unrelated in any other way.

That being said, you seem to constantly call in to question the integrity of the books I represent. Have you had any experiences with us? We have been putting up with rumors all year, but came through shining brightly, so I would love the opportunity to change your mind.

Good stuff.I Like Jake's attitude about puting an immediate killbosh on the bullshit and getting the problems dealt with. If all managers took this hands on approach we would all be paying -101 vig due to the higher levels of confidence and competence.

Jake, I have no choice. Too many negative topics like this one in the forums about your books!

By the way, topics like this are not rumors!

Jake, would you please post the link rot you bonus policy/rules? Even though Im gone stay away from your book for the next 3 years I want to read more about it!

Thanks

Am I,

If you are looking for a book to use as a bonus rollover stop, none of my books are for you. I did some searches on recent posts and I get the feeling that might be what you are looking for. If you are looking for a legitimate shop to post up with, and to play with for a period of time, give me a call and I will gladly get you started.

Nepenthe,

In NO way am I saying your post is a rumor. Allow me the opportunity of a phone call and an email and I will gladly clear this up.

Jake you seem like a good guy but why does it seem like your groups of books have problems like this every week on the forums. Are you the only one that can authorize payouts? Everytime that I consider trying you guys out, I see a post like this and think twice.

SportsSavant,

NHL lines go up at 1 pm EST every day (unless, of course, there is a day game)....ok it took me so long to post..they are now up.

Go2,

Well, we have been posting on these boards and advertising here since the beginning, so we have our fair share of folks playing with us who also post. I will also say most cases fall into 3 categories...(a) scammers/bonus whores (b) lies or non-truths (c)a breakdown in communication. While, over the years, we have proved the majority fall into a and b, there have been a few occasions where the fault does not lie with the client at all.

Please understand, this is not a money issue. We simply would like to talk to the client. The minute we receive correspondence, he will be paid in full. I just wanna talk to the guy about his account...that is all it is.

Don't let them get you riled up Jake.

Is the -105 good until 5 pm today?

Thanx

Assassin,

By popular demand the -105 is from 9am-9pm EST every Tuesday! We tried to offer it in the evenings, then in the mornings, then we just decided...ahhh...screw it...ALL DAY! Have fun and best of luck!

Jake,

Just so I am crystal clear. If I place a nickel bet on a +200 underdog and ask that this be my bet of the week, instead of winning $1000, I will win $1150. Or is there a maximum bet size, or is it ony for point spreads and totals

Marc,

The Best Bet promo gives you 15% extra on your winnings for that particular bet. So, in your example, that is exactly right. Hope that clears it up, but if not...let me know. The maximum bonus allowed is $150.

Jake

Jake,

I just wish I had seen that promo before. By far one of the best out there.

I want to be clear on this, too, guys. Before all the bonus hounds see this and try and hop aboard...you must roll the winnings over 3x. You can't just come in, win the bet, and cash out. JUST IN CASE, some of you were thinking about that. Not that any of those type of people would hang out here, though...
