You mean Nelson. Miller doesn't even play pro sports anymore.

They would be, except I think Stanford is an even bigger story playing in a tougher conference. Saturday's comeback down 17 in the second half in an incredibly hostile arena might be one of the school's greatest moments in men's hoops. They could be the first team in a long time to run the table in the Pac 10 as they have maybe 2 challenging games left on the schedule and the rest are easily winnable games.

No inside game at all, if 3's don't drop they are dead, better pray they don't face a LVille or Cinn , as their run will end quick

A-10 is very weak this year

St.Joe's is the type of team that when the j's are falling, they can beat anyone, but come tourney time I would look for size, tv timeouts, and the ref's playing havoc on tempo, to take a toll on this bunch in the Sweet 16.

Stanford, Pitt, & Miss St are more solid in the paint, and play tourney-styled ball, if looking for an alternative to Duke, Conn, L-ville, Az, Ky,etc..

This year's tourney is gonna be wild, and have some really nice dog plays(like the '89 thru '92 years)..as of current form, anyone of 10 teams have a legit shot at this year's crown.

We'll see...I spend a lot of time on that campus and they are getting a lot of pub but we'll see. I want to see what they do outside of the A-10 and outside of Philly. They struggled with Cal for awhile and Cal isn't a very good PAC-10 team this year. For the kids and the faculty and the alums I hope they pull it off but I'm not totally sold yet.

Martelli is alright...that issue earlier this season is not Martelli's MO. He is usually a pretty laid back and fun guy.

Horseshoe, how can you lump Stanford in as one of the alternatives and Arizona as one of the favorites???

Bill, I'm talking in terms of preseason hype, I agree Stanford has shattered those PAC-10 & national assumptions.

Much like UGA & Aub being the NCAA Title contenders from the SEC, yet LSU coming from #15 preseason to win all.

Montgomery has always been a top 5 coach, he may well become the PAC-10's first NCAA crown winner in '04..right Rail?

mvbski, I didn't see it(except highlights), did OU use the clock, or did they Quack Attack and Jack(It Up) the Cardinal back into it with quick ugly execution..this plaqued OU Football this year too.

Does Belotti have any quality DB help on the way for next fall?

St Joes would kill Cincy. Cincy plays cupcake preseason, only reason they are ranked high. They wont be in sweet 16
