Love him, hate him Art Modell should be in the HOF

He will unfortunately be most remembered for taking one of the proudest franchises out of Cleveland...

Art Modell deserves Hall of Fame honors! One of the pioneers that played a big part in the early days of the NFL, was the main reason we have Monday Night Football and is stepping down as owner after all these years, how on earth can he not be in the Hall?

Atleast he left the Browns name and colors behind, more than what Irsay did to Baltimore....

Art will more than likely someday get in but now he will probably be dead and long gone before that day comes...

Art Modell was never a wealthy man in the beginning, what he has today he worked hard for many years to obtain. I believe one day it is inevitable he will be in the Hall.

Of course he left Cleveland's colors behind. Come on, brown and orange?

Thank goodness he left those awful uniforms in Ohio! Atleast he had the sense to leave that tradition there, even though those uniforms and name weren`t worth bringing...

I am happy Cleveland got their team back...Art got a raw deal, the city was being built up all around his lagging franchise, he wasn`t left with much of a choice but to move
