I wouldn't pay 300 colones. A few years back, Pavarotti got caught lip-syncing at his concerts, like Milli-Vanilli.

Pavarotti possesses one of the most refined singing techniques in the HUMAN history. Get this: the guy's an opera singer and he's world famous. In a world based on pop culture, this is a great achievement.

You must understand music to a certain extent to be able to appreciate the beauty of this "fat wop" singing opera.

I'd love to see him by the first time, but I think I'll wait until I can afford a front row ticket in a amphitheater.

DonB;

To each his own, bro. I listen to everything, depending on my mood. From Pink Floyd when I want to feel good, to Groove Armada if I want to take it easy, to Carl Orff if I want to make love to my girl, to Godsmack if I'm working out... and Pavarotti or Andrea Bocelli if I want to listen to music.

You know.. everything. I didn't mean to call you an uneducated slob.

hey dude, i like all kinds of music, and what i mean was that just i'm really fan of heavy metal, but i also love th opera (specially when is singed by a woman called Lucia Di Larmermor, who was the one sing on the FARINELLI'S movie winner of one oscar as a best foreign movie, and i'm a very educated person, who speaks 5 lenguajes not at 100% off course, and CEO degrees, is nothing personal but i think the level of education dont match with the kind of music people listent. just casuality

Charlotte;

I was just out for some ball busting... don't read into it.

Funny enough and musically speaking, Tool and Mozart have a lot in common, in estructure. I agree with you, it's not a matter of education, it's a matter of acquired taste...

My friends and I paid for the $24 tickets. Reason: He doesnt put off any kind of super show like say....MAIDEN....would, second even being that far back you will still be able to see his girth, third..the sound in the OUTDOOR National Stadium is in most likeliness going to suck no matter where you are sitting (therefore he will probably be lip-syncing, or will stop after the first couple songs with disgust), and fourth, who wants to be sitting with a bunch of "Suits" or "To Do's" who think they are gods gift to the world simply because they can pay tons of money to see a great singer in a mediocre facility whilst their parked Mercede's and BMW's (which they drive like complete idiots and who dont know the difference between a fast lane and slow lane, or pull out in front of oncomming traffic like it wasnt even there almost causing an accident every single day) are being protected by a "security" force of a 12 year old crack addict for a measely 200 colones. WHEW!

I'd rather spend the chump change, sit with the real people of C.R. and drink my contraband wine.

eggplant in and out!
