Looking to play a 4 team parlay, with only 2 of the games being tonight. The other 2 are several days from now, and consequently no lines are available for them. Was wondering if anyone knew of a site that would take this wager? Looking to play it on the net, but will settle for phoning it in, if necessary.

MD Kid - by sites I assume you mean books. A lot offer open ended parlay and teasers, but most likely you will have to use their call center. Another factor is many books have rules stating the open ends need to be closed within the same week that you open them. Just inquire with CSD. of the outs you already have to begin with. Some other helpful info may show up in this thread.

if you play these, you really should open an account at heritage. i believe you can leave them open indefinately and close the parlay to one game at any time.

i don't play these so, i am going off memory here. probably best to call them to confirm.

Thanks Wil,
Yes, I'm talking about books. I was really hoping to find one that would allow an open ended parlay on the net, but it probably isn't likely.

Dogdoug,
Do you know if they allow it on the net?

Blue,
Thanks again. I will check them out.

what's the payout for a 2team parlay at the book you have an account with?..mite be better to do a 2teamer, then putting your winnings on each of the last 2 games...

MD According to their rules, only over the phone. Below was copied from their rules.

Open Wagers
Open wagers allow the customer to play teasers or parlays making one selection at different times or even different days.

Example:
3 Team Parlay
$100 to win $600
Cowboys -8
Dolphins -14
OPEN*

* This spot can be left open for seven days.
No open slots on the Internet.

Might be too late for you, but...

Parlay is the same thing as "letting it ride"..if you had 2 games tonight, you could put the full amount you wanted to bet on them...if they both came in, then use ALL those winnings (including your original bet) and put it on a 2-teamer with the other 2 whenever they are.

In fact, since you are giving up more vig ona 4-teamer than on a 2-teamer, this is a better option...

Like they said...
Better off betting original 2-teamer:
Say, bet $50 to win $130 (could find better payoff if you shop around)...
If you win, parlay the $180 again and that would turn into $648, a payoff of nearly 12-1 on your original investment.
You would also have the option of recouping the original bet and just parlaying the profits, or even guaranteeing a small win.

Thanks Avs,Tuley, and DG ... that's exactly what I ended up doing. Don't know why I didn't think of doing that in the first place ... must have been suffering from a brain aneurysm or something.
